Through this work, Fiona Paterson explores the idea that trees process the air, process water, and process the soil through their roots and leaves… and are interconnected. She draws a parallel with the technology that shapes our daily lives and sees it as a giant microprocessor... a macroprocessor! This reminds us of humanity’s place in the world and our dependence on nature – a place we sometimes tend to forget whilst staring at our screens.
